Ingenieurbüro Klein is a consulting company that provides planning services in a competent and cost efficient way.
Starting from the primary core business engineering of control centres for utilities we could extend our engineering services all the time and today we provide planning and consulting for the following scope:
- IT systems
- Network calculation
- Network training
A network of freelance assistants and experts give us the versatility necessary to put together the ideal team for the specific project requirements. An example is our cooperation with PlanDesign GmbH in designing control rooms.
In dealing with our clients, who are private and public utility companies, industrial companies, etc, we are professional and remain vendor-neutral, providing them with qualified services in specific applications that are the product of our being freethinking, independent and self-financed.

Growth
Established in 1981 by Dipl.-Ing. Ewald Maximilian Klein in Dietzenbach, Germany, the company expanded its capacity and scope through the founding of partner firms:
- HIPLAN Elektrotechnik GmbH headquartered in Haßloch, Pfalz, Germany, Managing Partner Dieter Himmighöfer
- EPRO Dr. Prössel & Partner GmbH with head office in Weißenfels, GermanyManaging Partner Dr. Horst-Peter Prössel.
In 2002, Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Jost, the son of the company founder, assumed management of the firm, making Ingenieurbüro Klein a family held and managed company in the second generation.
